Part 5, Assembling The Seat For Your Ice Fishing Shacks
A> Place your naugehyde material for your ice fishing shacks (back side up) on a table top.
Place your foam on top of the naugehyde fitting the foam to the same shape of the material.
Place the plywood on top of the foam.
B> Pull the naugehyde up over the foam and to the back of the plywood until firm on the side, put a staple in place.
Keep working around the entire perimeter of the seat a little at a time pulling and stapling as you go.
You may need to fold and tuck the naugehyde around the corners before stapling.
6) Completion Of The Bucket Seat Cover For Your Ice Fishing Shacks
A> From the scraps of plywood left cut two 1x2 inch pieces of plywood.
These will serve as stops for your seat cover bottom on the bucket.
Pre-drill two 1/8" screw holes in both pieces.
B> Place the seat cushion on top of the 5 gallon bucket.
With a 1x2 plywood piece in your hand reach under the seat and gently push it against the side of the bucket.
Turn the seat over with the plywood still in place and screw the first piece in place.
Again place the seat back on the bucket, push it to the edge until the plywood piece makes contact.
With the other 1x2 plywood piece in your hand reach under the seat and gently push it against the other side of the bucket opposite from the
first.
Again flip the seat over and put two screws in securing the plywood piece with two screws.

Instructions For Tip-Up Hole Covers For Bucket Seat Cover In Your Ice Fishing Shacks
1) Place the bottom of a 5 gallon bucket over your 1x1 foam piece.
Draw a line around the base creating a circle pattern on the foam.
Cut out the circle.
2) Mark the center of the foam circle. Using the ruler draw a line 2 inches on either side of the center mark.
From the center mark draw a line to the outer edge of the foam circle.
The two marks will resemble a T on the foam circle.
3) Use your utility knife and ruler to cut through both lines.
4) Your tip-up hole cover is ready to use!
Slip the cover around the center tube or crossbar to prevent snow and light from entering the hole.
Note: if black material is used the color absorbs thermal energy to prevent the hole in your ice fishing shacks from freezing.
